Cycle up to the top of the Gianicolo Hill from a quite street that runs behind the Vatican. Arrive in time for the firing of the midday cannon and enjoy the view over the rooftops of Rome.
This is just one of the highlights offered on this all day tourof Rome and her sites. One where you will be able to enjoy riding a bicycle through Romes gardens, parks and wide open piazzas as well as weaving through her narrow alleys, back streets and side roads to reach the main monuments.
A perfect route that concentrates on showing the unexpected and discovering the hidden side of Rome, taking you away from the crowds and into areas off the beaten path.
At the start we will stop for quick italian breakfast (coffee and cornett0) and then after the firing of the midday gun at a restaurant in Trastevere for an authentic lunch.

You should expect to get an overview of the city and the places that you should go visit. Along the way the guide will explain various aspects of Rome and its living conditions, helping you to understand the significance of places like the Trevi Fountain and the role that the ancient roman aqueducts have played on the development of modern Rome.
Being able to appreciate sites such as the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps up close requires that we arrive by using our extensive of back streets and side roads. We will still probably only be able to get near though so we, your guides, usually wait with the bicycles whilst you can walk to get up close.
Expect to make the most of your time in Rome by using our guide to visiting the rest of the city and its monuments, provided when you make your booking. This guide will help to map out the areas not covered during this tour and create an itinerary on what you still need to see.
